About
Heléne Henare - New Zealand artist and painter
Born in Wellington, New Zealand, I moved to Howick, Auckland with my family when I was very small.
In 2015, I relocated to Te Araroa on the East Cape, eventually returning to east Auckland in 2018.
Now I enjoy the serenity of living in the rural, coastal settlement of Maraetai, on the outskirts of Auckland on the beautiful Pohutukawa Coast.
Surrounded by native birds, in a private, picturesque setting, with gorgeous bush and sea views, my home art studio is perfect for generating inspiration and creativity.
